LEAKY GUT/INTESTINAL PERMEABILITY
Leaky Gut or Intestinal Hyper-permeability is a situation in which there is an atrophy of the GALT structure in one or several locations. This may result in the inability of the body to absorb nutrients and eliminate toxins. The increase in toxic load will cause the immune system to become overactive and may lead to autoimmune disease.
