Detox Lifestyle Recommendations
Here are some recommendations to help you relax and detoxify,
both body and mind.
SKIN BRUSHING
• Use a loofa or net sponge to lightly brush the skin in the shower.
• Make light stroking movements toward the heart.
• This stimulates circulation of the lymphatics.
STEAM AND/OR SAUNA
• Steam or Sauna help the body to sweat out heavy metals, pesticides, plastics
• And other toxins that store in the fat cells.
• Be sure to drink plenty of fluids and use an electrolyte drink if necessary such as
Emergence-C.
CASTOR OIL PACKS
• Castor Oil can be purchased from the health food or drug store.
• This will help remove toxins from the lymphatics and liver.
• Put 5-6 drops of rosemary and juniper essentiol oil in a handful of castor oil and rub into the therpeutic Regions. Apply under the right ribcage and below the bellybutton.
• Apply a towel or flannel sheet over the area.
• Finally, add a heating pad or hotpack to the top.
• Relax and rest.
Pregnant women and people with liver disease should avoid castor oil packs.
EPSOM SALT BATHS
• Add two cups of Epsom salts to the bath water.
• This helps to detox the muscles and tissues, relax the muscles, improves sleep, and decreases stress.
• You can buy from the first aid section of the drug stores.
CLEAN CLOSETS, HOUSE, OFFICE 
• Detoxing is a good time to go through your things and get rid of anything which doesn’t seem useful to you anymore.
EMOTIONAL DETOX
• Journal, talk, or meditate about what emotional and spiritual cleansing you need. Consider behaviors, attitudes, ideas, relationships, characteristics and habits which don’t seem useful to you anymore. How will you let them go?
