Holiday Tea Drinks
A healthy and comforting addition to the holiday atmosphere
A steaming mug of tea is soothing on a cold night. Serve your guests these special teas at your holiday party. A crock-pot is handy for making the holiday tea and keeping it warm for guests.
Holiday Citrus Tea Recipe
12 tea bags – use organic black tea or green tea
12 cups boiling filtered water
2/3 cup organic pure can sugar
4 tablespoons honey
3 cups organic orange juice
3 cups organic pineapple juice
1 organic orange (unpeeled), sliced
1 cinnamon stick
Place tea bags into the Crockpot and pour boiling water over them. Cover; and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags. Stir in sugar, honey, orange juice, pineapple juice, orange slices, and cinnamon stick. Cover and heat on low for 2-3 hours.

Orange Cranberry Tea Recipe
6 tea bags of organic green or black tea
6 cups of filtered water
6 cups organic orange juice
6 cups organic cranberry juice
3/4 cups of pure cane sugar
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 1/2teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 organic orange sliced and unpeeled
Combine all the ingredients except orange in your crock-pot. Heat on high until all ingredients are hot. Turn to low and simmer until ready to serve.
Recipe serves 18
Cinnamon sticks make a very fragrant addition as stirrers
in steaming holiday mugs.
Cranberry Ginger Tea
6 tea bags of organic green or black tea
6 cups hot filtered water
1 cup ginger, fresh and thinly sliced
1 cup organic cranberries
1 cup organic cranberry juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup honey
Put tea bags, ginger, cranberries and cranberry juice into your Crockpot. Thoroughly heat all ingredients and allow to steep for 30 minutes. Strain out ginger and cranberries and serve warm. Serve this soothing, relaxing tea to your family just before bedtime.
Chai Chamomile Tea
6 tsp fresh ginger root, grated
2 tsp coriander seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon caradmom
1/4 teaspoon cloves
6 chamomile tea bags
6 cups filtered water
Combine all ingredients except chamomile tea bags in the six cups of water. Simmer together for 20 minutes. Add chamomile tea bags and steep for 10 minutes. Strain out the ginger and seeds and serve.
